'5' Anniversaries

Here are some of the local anniversaries with 5 as the last digit, although significant events from these years are few

1545 - Register of baptisms, marriages and burials commenced at St. Stephens church.

1595 - Passage House Inn (now The Boatman) built.

1865 - Second Baptist chapel erected.

1925 - Ince Castle restored.

1965 - Saltash Grammar School moved to new site at Wearde.

1975 - North Road school severely damaged by fire.

1985 - St. Stephens School moved to Cross Park
